A comprehensive review of Ghana’s national railway strategy — updating traffic forecasts, rehabilitation plans and investment programmes for an entire rail network.

Commissioned by the Ghana Railway Development Authority, Team Group carried out a full review and update of the Ghana Railway Master Plan originally produced in 2013. The assignment covered the existing rail network with the aim of creating efficient transport links to key mineral resources, communities and every regional capital, while incorporating new routes and interconnections across the country.

The review encompassed updated traffic forecasts, revised plans for network rehabilitation and line upgrades, new proposals for standard gauge line construction and extensions, a comprehensive financial plan covering investments in both infrastructure and rolling stock, and updated railway infrastructure specifications.
