This privacy policy explains how TEAM Engineering S.p.A. (operating as TEAM Group) (“we”, “us” or “our”) collects, uses and protects your personal data when you visit our website www.teamgroup.it or contact us, in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679, “GDPR”) and applicable Italian data protection law.

Information you provide to us
When you contact us by email or phone, or send us a job application, we receive the information you choose to share, such as:
- Name
- Email address
- Phone number
- The content of your message
- Professional, employment and educational information contained in your CV or application
Please do not include in your CV sensitive information (such as health data, religious beliefs or political opinions) unless strictly necessary.
Information collected automatically
When you visit our website, the following information may be collected automatically through cookies, similar technologies and server logs:

- Pages visited and usage data
- Approximate location (country or city level)
We do not collect personal data about you from third-party sources such as data brokers.
Cookies and similar technologies
Our website uses technical cookies necessary for its operation and, only with your consent, analytics cookies (Google Analytics) and cookies set by embedded content (Google Maps). We also use Independent Analytics, a cookieless statistics tool that does not track individual visitors and stores data on our own server.

Is providing your data mandatory?
Providing personal data when you contact us or apply for a position is voluntary. However, without it we will not be able to respond to your enquiry or evaluate your application. Refusing analytics or map cookies does not limit access to the website; it only disables those features.
How long do we keep your information?
- Emails and enquiries: for as long as needed to respond and manage any resulting business relationship, and in any case no longer than 24 months after our last contact.
- CVs and job applications: up to 24 months, to consider you for future openings, after which they are deleted. You may ask us to delete your application at any time.
- Google Analytics data: 14 months.
- Anonymous statistics: kept in aggregated form that does not identify you.
- Server logs: for a limited period for security purposes, then deleted.
Longer periods apply only where required by law, for example for tax or accounting obligations. When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it.
Who do we share your information with?
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with:
- Service providers that help us operate the website, acting on our behalf: Google (Analytics and Maps, only with your consent) and our website hosting provider.
- Public authorities, where we are required to do so by law.
- Potential buyers or successors, in the event of a merger, acquisition or sale of all or part of our business.
Transfers outside the European Union
Google may process data in the United States. Such transfers take place under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, which the European Commission has recognised as providing an adequate level of protection, and, where applicable, under Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission.
Automated decision-making
We do not use automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects on you.
Your rights
Under Articles 15 to 22 of the GDPR, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you and receive a copy of it
- Rectify inaccurate or incomplete data
- Request erasure of your data (“right to be forgotten”)
- Restrict the processing of your data in certain circumstances
- Receive your data in a structured, commonly used format and transfer it to another controller (data portability)
- Object to processing based on our legitimate interests
- Withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal. You can do this for cookies through the cookie icon at the bottom of each page

Right to lodge a complaint
If you believe your personal data has been processed unlawfully, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian supervisory authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (www.garanteprivacy.it), or with the supervisory authority of the EU country where you live or work.
Children
Our website is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 14. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.
Security
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure.
