A 1,220-hectare urban expansion north of Bata, Equatorial Guinea, planned as a residential and tourist community for 50,000 residents between the Utonde and Mayang river mouths.
The masterplan covers planning and urbanization of a developing area destined to become a mixed residential and tourist district — combining housing, commercial buildings, and facilities for tourism, hospitality, and entertainment. The area sits between the mouths of the Rivers Utonde and Mayang, just north of Bata.
Logistical positioning is a key advantage of the site. Proximity to Bata airport, combined with planned road network development connecting the city center, the airport, and the new district, gives the area strong infrastructure foundations from day one.
