A 37 km detailed railway design at the heart of a cross-border rail corridor linking South Africa to Mozambique through the Kingdom of Eswatini.

The Eswatini Rail Link is part of an ambitious regional project agreed between the governments of Eswatini and South Africa, establishing a new railway from Davel in South Africa through to Richards Bay Harbour and Maputo in Mozambique. The full Eswatini portion of the line runs approximately 141 km from the Nerston border through Sidvokodvo and Phuzumoya to the Golela border.

Team Group’s assignment covers the 37 km stretch from Sidvokodvo to Phuzumoya (Work Package 4), delivering both a review of the preliminary engineering design (FEL-3) and the full detailed engineering design (FEL-4) on behalf of Eswatini’s Ministry of Public Works and Transport.
