A 300-metre railway crossing over the Volta River, connecting Ghana’s rail network through one of its most strategically important waterways.

The Volta Bridge is a railway bridge spanning the Volta River at the midpoint between the Akosombo and Akuse dams in Ghana. The structure comprises five 60-metre spans, with a deck formed by two steel girders and a reinforced concrete top slab.
